JoSAA Counselling 2020 has been conducted successfully with under 6 rounds this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Counselling for seats in IITs was only up to these 6 rounds. Now, CSAB has released a list of vacant seats from JoSAA counselling from NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Two special rounds of counselling will be conducted for admission to these seats. It will be called the CSAB 2020 Special Round.

The admission process will be similar to that in JoSAA Counselling 2020. Candidates have to register and fill up choices as per their preferences. The selection process will be based on the rank/score in JEE Main 2020 only.
