TJEE 2021 Application Form Released @ tbjee.nic.in, Exam on June 23

The Tripura Board has released the application form for TJEE 2021 and announced some changes in the TJEE exam pattern 2021.
Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2021 will be conducted on June 23, 2021 for granting admissions to engineering, technology, fisheries, veterinary, and other professional courses in the participating colleges. The registrations for TJEE 2021 have started on the official website of the Tripura Board – www.tbjee.nic.in. The last date to apply is April 25, 2021.

Tripura JEE Application Form 2021 Released

To confirm their registration for the exam, candidates will be required to create a new account on the portal and submit the required documents. Applications can only be submitted in online mode. There is no option to submit an offline application. The application fees for candidates belonging to the General Category is INR 550.

TJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible to appear for TJEE 2021, candidates must be a permanent resident of the state of Tripura. They must have passed Class XII exams from Tripura Board of Secondary Education or the Central Board of Secondary Education. Candidates appearing for Class XII exams in 2021 are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam. There is no minimum percentage criteria required for TJEE 2021.

TJEE 2021: How To Register?

The basic steps to register for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination 2021 are as follows-

  1. Visit the official website tbjee.nic.in
  2. On the homepage, click on ‘Apply online for TJEE 2021’ link
  3. Register yourself by entering your Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, and Password
  4. Login on the portal using the Application Number provided after Registration and their Password
  5. Fill the qualification details and upload the required documents
  6. Pay the Application Fees
  7. Take a print out of the filled application form

TJEE 2021: Exam Pattern

Some changes in the TJEE 2021 exam pattern have been announced by the Tripura Board. Earlier, the exam was conducted over 2 days in 4 shifts.

  • As per the revised pattern, the exam will be conducted in a single day in 4 shifts.
  • Physics and Chemistry exams will be conducted in the first shift for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • The second shift will comprise the Biology exam with a duration of 45 minutes.
  • Mathematics exam will be conducted in the third shift. The duration of the Mathematics exam will also be 45 minutes.
  • The number of questions in each paper have been reduced to 30 from 50. Every question will carry 4 marks, taking the total marks for each paper to 120. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
