The University of North Bengal is located in Raja Rammohanpur, Siliguri in Darjeeling district in West Bengal is a Public University established in 1962. University of North Bengal overtures its courses through 64 affiliated colleges including 2 integral colleges in many districts of its zone.

It offers degrees in various disciplines of UG, PG, MPhil and Doctorate programs. Admissions are offered based on the merit of the qualifying exam and entrance exams for certain courses. Some entrance exams accepted are conducted by NBU itself for various disciplines while for MBA admission, CMAT is accepted. University of North Bengal Admissions

Admission to NBU is partly merit-based and partly entrance exam based for certain subjects. The application procedure is both online and offline with an application fee of INR 150 (INR 60 for SC/ST/PH).

  • Candidates must register themselves by providing a valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Applicants must fill up all the necessary details like personal details, educational details and other qualifications accurately.
  • Once it is done, you need to upload a scanned copy of your passport size photograph and signature.
  • Candidates must pay the application fees through online Bank Challan, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card etc.

  • Hostel: It consists of 4 boys hostel and 5 girls hostel with basic amenities for staying as it is a Public University. There is also a provision for separate hostels for International students with an intake of 60.
