University of Kota (UOK) is a recognized University by UGC and was established by the Government of Rajasthan in 2003.At present, the University has 180+ colleges and offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctorate level programs in various departments like Arts, Commerce & Management, Science, Social Science, Law, Education. The courses offered at the university are B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons), B.Pharm, M.Sc, M.sc (Hons), M.Com, M.A, M.C.A, M.S.W, M.TECH, MBA, LLM, M.P.Ed, M.Phil, Ph.D., Diploma, Certificate Course in Tourist Guide.

The university accepts admission based on Merit in the qualifying exams and also conducts a university-level entrance exam and personal interviews for some courses.

UOK has various national and international MoUs to empower research in many fields.
