Kashmir University Admission 2021

Admission to the University is based on the entrance exam and merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam. For courses like B.Tech and M.Tech, the university accepts JEE Main and GATE score. Selection to MBA is based on CMAT/MAT and M.Pharm is based on GPAT. While B.Ed and PG Diploma admission is merit-based.

  • Download the Application form by clicking on the link provided.
  • Duly fill in the application form with the relevant details.
  • The auto-generated form must be sent with the fees receipt to the Office of Development Council.

Kashmir University Scholarship

Students of this college are provided scholarships, based on the criteria. The scholarships are:

  • Merit Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to the first two toppers based on their marks in the previous qualifying exams or their scores in the entrance exams.
  • Research Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to 4 members in each department pursuing their PhD/M.Phil degrees and they will also receive funds to meet miscellaneous expenses.
  • Students’ Aid – Students’ Aid fund is offered to meritorious students who are from low-income groups and students who are orphans are given first preference.

  • Library– The university has a well stocked Library with around 6,00,000 books . The library also has books designed for visually challenged students like Braille books,Digital Talking Books etc
  • Sports Facility– students can participate in various sports events organized in this college. There are separate grounds for Cricket , Football as well as Hockey Court, Baseball Court, and Lawn Tennis.
  • Hostel- There are a total of 3 boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels with mess and other recreational facilties. The rooms are with 2, 3 4 and 6 beds.Students from faroff places and meritorious students are given preference.
  • Other Facilities– There are 24*7 security services in the college, medical facilities and shuttle services for students to reach the college with much ease.

Ans. The application fee can be paid by the candidates through demand draft. For B. Ed the application fee is INR 800. For courses like BBA, BCA, B. Sc, IT, BA, the application fee is INR 500. For the Ph. D course, the entrance test fee is INR 175.
