Why does the ranking of Top Engineering Colleges in India differ from other rankings?
Rankings are not static as the entire process of evaluating the top engineering colleges in India keeps on changing regularly. Changes in the admission process, fee structure, course or curriculum and other factors are interconnected in evaluation of how many engineering colleges in India rank at the top.
For instance, a mechanical engineering college that offers excellent placement opportunities to the students might witness a downfall in placement offers due to the change in industry demands. Similarly, change in eligibility clauses of admission might affect the quality of students taking admission in a particular course.
Should Top Engineering Colleges in India be selected based on the ranking?
It is a debatable topic, as selection of the top engineering college in India and branch depends upon a lot of factors.
- The first thing which all the aspirants need to keep in mind is their preference.
- You must select at least three-five branches in consideration so that if you don’t get admission in one branch, you can explore other options.
- After that check out the ranking of top engineering colleges in India and, which colleges have you appeared in the entrance exam / or will be giving the test in the future.
- Narrow down your search to a few colleges only, where you would like to study for the next four years.
Study harder for your entrance test, and against your rank, select the top engineering colleges in India list according to its ranking.
