TNTEU is UGC as well as NCTE recognized University and is NAAC accredited. TNTEU has various colleges affiliated with it. It offers B.Ed., M. Ed, M. Phil, PhD, BA B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. program Admission to M.Ed and PhD is given only on the basis of the performance of a candidate in the entrance exam conducted by the University itself. Also, the candidate must hold a degree of graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate. In case of admission to the Ph.D program candidate would need to qualify in entrance exam and then it will be further followed up by a round of personal interview.
