Saint Claret College, Bengaluru is inviting applications for 2021-22 admissions for all its Under Graduate courses BCom, BBA, BCA, BSc, BA and BCom (evening college) with various course combinations. Candidates can apply online from the college website. Candidates can also opt for offline admissions but need to check with college authorities on the restrictions due to Covid19 pandemic. The candidates need to have completed their Higher Secondary, Pre-University Course or its equivalent from a recognized institute with relevant subjects based on the course they are opting for.

Admissions for 2021-22 are open for Post Graduate courses MCom, MSW and MBA. The Online application form is available on the college website. The college is also offering Diploma courses in Psychological counselling, Yoga Studies and Bharatanatyam. The submission of applications in offline mode needs to be checked with college authorities due to Covid19 restriction.

Eligibility

Candidates who have completed their higher secondary (10+2), Pre-University Course or its equivalent from a recognized board can apply for the undergraduate courses. For admission to some courses, candidates must have studied particular subjects as major in the two years of their higher secondary or equivalent study. The major subjects for each course are as given.

  • BCom/ BBA: Business Studies and Accountancy.
  • BCA: Computer Science.
  • BSc (MSE): Statistics/ Mathematics
  • BSc (MSC) and BSc (EPC): Statistics/ Mathematics/ Computer Science.

Selection Criteria

The selection is based on the Cut Off marks, fixed annually for the Higher Secondary Exams or its equivalent and subsequent interview with the admission panel and the Principal. Candidates may also have to attend an aptitude test when applying to some courses.

  • Click on the admission link given, fill out the enquiry form and then the application form.
  • The application form should be duly filled with personal and academic details.
  • Pay Rs.300 towards application fee through online mode and submit.
  • For offline admission, get the admission form from the college admin office. Check with the college authorities on Covid 19 restrictions.
  • Fill the form correctly and attach an attested photocopy of Higher Secondary School result
  • Submit the same at the college office.

Eligibility

MCom: All candidates should have completed their BCom or BBA with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ Category-I) in Commerce subjects from a recognized university. Students in their final year of their studies should have 50% aggregate in all semesters/ years of undergraduate education conducted so far. The admission of candidates who are yet to complete their final qualifying exams is provisional and they need to secure an aggregate of minimum 50% in Commerce subject in the qualifying exam, failing which the admission is cancelled.

MSW: All candidates who have completed their Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Arts from a recognized university in India having a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST) in all subjects.

MBA: All candidates should have completed a graduate or honours degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of marks of 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ Category-I) including languages from a recognized university in India or abroad.

Selection Criteria

The selection to the post graduate courses of the college is based on the cut-off marks fixed annually for the final qualifying examinations of the respective undergraduate courses and the subsequent interview.

Eligibility

Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling: A candidate who has completed graduation in regular mode from a recognized Indian university with any of the following optional subjects namely Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Home Science, or a Doctor from any medical faculty such as Allopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy or professionals in Paramedical Rehabilitation namely nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, audiologists with a 50% aggregate in marks including languages.

Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Studies: A candidate who has completed graduation from any recognized India university. Preference will be given to those having completed certified courses in Yoga.

Diploma in Bharatanatyam: Candidates who have completed their Higher Secondary (10+2), Pre-University Corse or its equivalent from a recognized institute.
