Established in 1932, Modern Education Society is the parent institute of Nowrosjee Wadia College. NWC Pune offers courses in 4 categories i.e. Junior College Courses, Senior College Courses, Post Graduation Courses, and Vocational Courses. The college has courses available in Arts, Science, and Technology.

Candidates are required to have a valid score in the previous examination to secure admissions to the courses. The final admissions will be based on document verification.

Entrance Exam Details 

  • Nowrosjee Wadia College – Pune conducts an entrance cum admission exam to admit students to postgraduate courses. The students can apply online to register for the exam. Unreserved category of students has to a sum of ₹500. While the reserved category candidates have to pay ₹400.
  • The duration is two hours. All those who have passed the specific subject in graduation can appear for the test. For instance, if you want to enroll for a postgraduate course in Computer Science, you must have passed your graduation with the same subject i.e. computer science.
  • The maximum marks for the entrance examination are 100. It is conducted in a multiple-choice based question format. The college releases three merit lists of students.
  • For Senior College students, the NWC – Pune conducts the Graduate Excellence Examination (GEE) annually. The main objective of this exam is to train students for competitive exams including UPSC CSE, Maharashtra PSC, and other banking exams.
  • Three different examinations are conducted as a part of GEE, one for each year. The exam is conducted in two phases. In the first phase, a written examination takes place within the college premises. The second phase involves a personality test or an interview.
