NIT Warangal Placements Report and Summer Internship Program

NIT Warangal placements have seen a regulated placement drive offering jobs to nearly 732 undergrads. According to TAPS (Training and Placement Section) at NIT Warangal, 14 final year students have received an employment offer of CTC INR 43.33 lakhs annually, making it the exalted package rendered for this academic year.
- Amongst all the final year students, 14 of them bagged the highest employment offer of CTC INR 43.33 LPA. For 2020, the average compensation increased from previous years INR 9.93 LPA to INR 12.15 LPA.
- 289 students of the institute were offered salaries above INR 10 LPA. The majority of the placements were greeted by students of the Computer Science and Engineering Department.
- 243 students have received internship offers from leading companies with INR 1.6 LPA being NIT Warangal highest stipend offered.
- NIT Warangal top recruiters were Amazon, Jio, Black Buck, Mahindra, Accenture, Microsoft, Adobe LTD., Loreal, Morgan Stanley, Oracle India Private Limited, Samsung R&D Institute etc.
A total of 177 companies took part in the placement drive, successfully employing 732 students (551 from the UG course and 181 from the PG course) in different industries.

NIT Warangal Summer Internships
Summer internships are provided to the students pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech and other respective courses. An Internship duration can vary from 6-8 weeks depending upon the course of work.
- This year, 243 final year students have secured internship letters from leading companies with INR 1.6 lakh being the highest stipend offered.
- Due to COVID-19, pre-final year students are offered to choose either a summer internship program or can work on a mini-project lasting for 8 weeks under the guidance of a mentor.
- Summer internships provided this year are following work from home routine.
- Various companies like Identium, Franklin Templeton International Services, Dilbobe and others have offered summer internships in CSE, IT, Marketing, ECE domain.

This year, 177 companies visited, which is greater than last year. The percentage of placed students and packages offered has also seen a sharp inflation. The placement percentage for the academic year 2016-2017 was 65.11% and for the following year 2017-2018, it was 69.33%. This year’s percentage stands at 80%.
