All the 31 NITs take admissions on the basis of JEE Main result of candidates. Usually, the JEE Main Cut Off for NITs goes as high as 30,000.   • This library is called Biju Patnaik Central Library (BPCL) which has been functioning since 1965.

  • The institute has 11 hostels, which includes 7 boys hostels, 2 girls hostels and 2 hostels to married students (research scholars).
