National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) is an autonomous organisation controlled and regulated by the Union Ministry of Rural Development. The organisation is located in the city of Hyderabad in Telangana, established in 1958.

It offers a variety of four postgraduate diploma courses to the students graduating in any discipline. Postgraduate courses in management are among the most popular courses in NIRDPR.

The National Institute of rural development and Panchayati Raj is recognised as one of the UN-ESCAP centres of excellence in rural development both nationally and internationally. The institute is also recognised as a centre of excellence in HRD research and training.
