NAARM Hyderabad Admission 2021: Dates, Eligibility, Selection, Application Process

NAARM has extended the online application for DTMA – 2021 till May 15, 2021. Students shortlisted for PGDM (Agri-Business Management) admission are invited for Analytical Writing Skill Test that will be conducted on May 17, 2021 (Monday) and Personal Interview (PI) from May 24-28, 2021 (Monday to Friday).

NAARM offers 2 PG Diploma courses namely PGDM-A and PGD-TMA. PGDM-A is a full time two-year residential program that is approved by AICTE and the PGDTMA program is for one year.

  • Admission to PGDM-ABM is done based on CAT/ CMAT scores, Academic scores, Work experience and Diversity factor, as indicated in the Admission Process given on the website.
  • Shortlisted candidates are called for AWST and PI in the ratio of 1:5 category-wise of total seats (66).
  • Admission to the PGDTMA program is done based on the merit of a previous academic record as well as work experience in relevant fields.

NAARM PGDM-ABM Admission 2021 

The institution offers a full-time course in PGDM-A (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Agriculture). The duration of the course is 2 years.

NAARM PGDM-ABM Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 60% marks or 6 out of 10 CGPA throughout the academic journey i.e 10th, 12th and graduation.
  • Completion of 4-year bachelor’s degree on or before 1st July 2021 from any University or Institution recognized by the ICAR/ UGC in any of agriculture or allied sciences (e.g. Agriculture, Agri-Business Management/ Commercial Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Biotechnology, Dairy Science/ Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering, Forestry, Horticulture, Sericulture and Veterinary Sciences)

NAARM PGDM-ABM Selection Criteria:

  • Admission is done based on the rank secured in any national-level exams like CAT/ CMAT and candidates are called in the ratio of 1:5 for an interview, i.e., 5 candidates for each seat.
  • The final round will assess the candidates in Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Analytical Writing Skill Test (Online), Work Experience and Past Academic Record

Academic Score will be given for marks obtained in class 10th and 12th. The score will be generated based on the below table.

How to Apply for the PGDM-ABM Program? 

Documents Required 

  • Class 10th Mark sheet and Passing certificate
  • Class 12th Mark sheet and Passing certificate
  • Degree (UG/ PG)/ Provisional Certificate-if Completed
  • Certificate from University Authorities (If the candidate is in the final semester of undergraduate course)
  • Work experience certificate (if any)
  • CAT/ CMAT Score Card Considered both as a total and individual marks)
  • CAT/ CMAT Hall Ticket/ Admit Card
  • SC/ ST/ NC-OBC Certificate (if applicable)

  • Candidates can either download the application form from the official website or get it from the college office.
  • Complete the application form and sent it to the below address along with the Demand Draft paying INR 1200 (INR 600 for SC/ ST) in favour of “ICAR-Unit, NAARM A/ C” and payable at Hyderabad.

NAARM PGDTMA Admission 2021 

The institution offers a post-graduate Diploma in Technology Management in Agriculture (PGD-TMA). The course duration is 1 year.

NAARM PGDTMA Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a post-graduate in either Agricultural Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Physical Sciences/ Management/ Life Sciences/ Management/ Engineering/ Law or hold a Graduation degree in any of the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Candidates must have 2 years of work experience after they complete graduation.
  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks must be maintained by the candidate
  • Students in the final semester can apply for admission.

NAARM PGDTMA Selection Criteria:

  • Admission is done based on the rank secured in any national-level exams.
  • The candidates have to get selected first based on their ranks then they will be called for the final round of selection.
  • The final round will consist of Group Discussion and Personal Interviews along with assessments based on Academic records.
  • 49.5 % is reserved for (SC/ ST/ OBC).
  • Seats are also reserved for Foreign students who pass the qualifying round.

Ans. NAARM announced 100% placement of 10 batches of PGDM-ABM (2019-21). All the 46 students were placed successfully in 21 reputed agribusiness companies recording a 100% placement, since the inception of the program. It is the 11th batch in a row recording an incredible journey year after year with increasing pay packages. The package offered ranged between INR 6.5 LPA and INR 12 LPA with an average CTC of INR 8.5 LPA. The institute has added a record number of 14 new companies to their recruiters’ list during this year. The top recruiters include Iffco Kisan, Corteva, Coromandel, Cytozyme.
