Master of Technology (M.Tech) – Course Overview

Master of Technology (M.Tech): Eligibility
To get admission in MTech, it’s mandatory for every applicant to satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Applicants must note that the eligibility criteria may vary from institute to institute.
- Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor degree from the recognised University.
- Should have qualified the doorway examination.
- Applicants who have completed a five-year programme and received the Master of Science degree also are eligible to undertake the Master of Technology programme.

Master of Technology (M.Tech): Entrance Exam

- GATE is one among the foremost important entrance examinations for admission into the M.Tech programme. This is often a joint examination held by Indian Institute of Science and 7 Indian Institute of Technologies (Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai(Madras) and Mumbai(Bombay) ). - AP PGECET or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is conducted and organized by the Andhra University for admission into the participating institutes in Andhra Pradesh.
- VITMEE or VIT Master’s entrance exam may be a University level entrance exam conducted by the VIT University for admission to the varied M.Tech programmes offered at its Vellore and Chennai campuses.
