Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, is a state university established by Maharishi Mahesh yogi ji in 1995, is one of the best universities in India providing education especially in yogic and Jyotashi sciences in distance as well as regular mode. University has also established its Directorate of Distance Education in 2006 in Brahmsthan Karoundi, Post Mahner-Umariyapaan, Katni, Madhya Pradesh.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya has been recognized by UGC, accredited ‘C’ grade by NAAC, and recognized by UGC-DEB under UGC Act, 1956. It has also been a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
