JIS College of Engineering (JISCE), Kolkata is recognised as one of the best Engineering colleges and was established in 2000.   • NER UGC Scholarship: NER UGC scholarship if offered by UGC for the students from North eastern region. Every year, 10000 scholarships are given among NER students. Candidates who win the scholarship get 7,800 every month till the completion of degree.
  • Pranati Scholarship- AICTE: The scholarship is provided to the GATE/GPAT qualified students by the AICTE. The scholarship programme aims to ensure development of technical education in India. Candidates having a valid GATE/GPAT score will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs. 12,400 for the post graduation.
