Ramesh Pokhriyal, Education Minister, Says JEE Main 2020 Results Will Be Declared Soon

On 9 September 2020, The Union Education Minister said that the process for JEE Main 2020 Result for April/September session has started and will be declared soon. NTA has successfully conducted the JEE Main exam from 1 to 6 September 2020 at various exam centres in India. Once the result will be declared, candidates will be able to check the same on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Over 8 lakhs candidates appeared for the JEE Main 2020 exam. Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal thanked students and parents for reposing trust in the government and participating in JEE Main exam.

NTA has also released the JEE Main 2020 Answer key on its official website. Candidates who have attempted the exam can challenge the answer key of their respective shift. Aspirants must challenge the answer key before 10 September 2020.

How to Check JEE Main 2020 Results?

To check JEE Main 2020 result students have to follow the steps mentioned below:-

  1. Visit the NTA’s official site i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on “JEE Main 2020 Results”
  3. Enter required credentials such as Application Number and Date of Birth
  4. The result will appear on the screen

Candidates are advised to download the result and save it for future references.

After the result declaration, candidates who will score the minimum qualifying cut off marks will be eligible to apply for the National Institute Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). And the top 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2020 exam. The registration for JEE Advanced 2020 will begin from 12 September 2020.

NTA will release the JEE Main answer keys 2020 shortly; the dates are not out in public domain yet. JEE Main official answer key 2020 will have the correct answers to all the questions that were asked in the exam. Test-takers will be able to calculate and get a rough idea of their scores through the answer keys. Along with it, NTA will also release the response sheet. Now, if students are not satisfied with the answers, they can challenge them by paying 1000 INR. If the challenge is accepted, the amount will be refunded. After the declaration of result and rank list, aspirants who fulfil the admission cutoff mark will be able to apply for admission. Successful aspirants after meeting the qualifying cut off marks can opt for JEE Advanced 2020 to take admission at Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). Test-takers who want to study B.
