Ans. There are many factors on which students can make their decision for the colleges. All the colleges have their pros and cons. JGEC and KGEC are government colleges and situated outside of the main Kolkata city on the other hand IEM is in the prime location of Kolkata, hence has a greater advantage. Moreover, the course fee at both government colleges is very less than the IEM. The placement record is far better at the IEM as students get an average package around INR 5-6 LPA which is 4-5 LPA at government colleges.
