Merit = 2S + T/6

where T = Marks obtained in English + marks obtained in the subject opted for Honors + best marks of the other two subjects excluding EVS and subject opted for Honors.

S = Marks obtained in subject opted for Honors. If a candidate does not a specific honor subject in their course, then merit will be calculated as given below:

Merit = T/4

where T = Marks obtained in English + Best other 3 subjects excluding EVS.
