IIT Gandhi Nagar has started its regular admission process for the M.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses. It is also currently accepting applications for admission to the post-graduate courses for international students. The list of candidates who have been selected for the early admission process to the M.Sc (Cognitive Sciences), M.Tech, and MA in Society and Cultural Programme has been released by the college.

  • The admission to the B.Tech courses will completely depend on the JEE results. The cut-off for the same is different for different disciplines.
  • The admission process has already started for the M.Sc and M.Tech courses.
  •  If you have applied for the M.Tech courses between 20th March 2021 and 27th March 2021, you are required to resubmit your application form.
  • IIT Gandhi Nagar is also admitting the eligible candidates from their B.Tech courses for the early Ph.D. program. The courses will begin in July 2021. The monthly stipend for those students will be INR 41,000.

In general, for the M.Tech courses, the application deadline is 25 April 2021 while for the M.Sc courses, it is February 10, 2021 (Extended). The application deadline for the regular Ph.D. courses is February 20, 2021. Area-specific tests are also conducted for the M.Sc courses. The list of shortlisted candidates is declared within a month of the commencement of the admission process. The M.Tech programs also require you to sit for an interview before you are actually selected for the course. The interview process is held between 8 May to 15 May 2021.

IIT Gandhi Nagar B.Tech Admissions 2021

IIT Gandhi Nagar offers B.Tech programs in six different disciplines. They are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The admission is done through JEE.

Eligibility Criteria

  • In order to be eligible for the JEE Advanced examination, you will have to clear the cut-off for the JEE Mains examination. The cut-off is subjected to change every year.
  • The general category students must secure at least 75% of marks in 10+2 examinations. For students belonging to SC, ST, and PWD, the minimum 65% of marks in their class 12th board examinations.

  • To apply for the B.Tech courses, you need to visit the official website for JEE Mains and apply for the course.

IIT Gandhi Nagar M.Tech Admissions 2021

The admission process for the M.Tech courses for the academic year 2021-2022 is already open. The course offers M.Tech programs in subjects like Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Earth System Science, Materials Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. It also offers post-graduate diploma in engineering (PGDIIT) courses to interested candidates.

IIT Gandhi Nagar M.Sc Admissions 2021

IIT Gandhi Nagar offers M.Sc. degree courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Cognitive Science. The admission to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics courses is done through the Joint Admission Test while for the Cognitive Science course, the college organizes its own admission test and interview process.

Eligibility Criteria

  • In order to be eligible for IIT JAM,, you require at least 55% aggregate in your B.Sc course.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have at least 50% aggregate marks.

IIT Gandhi Nagar also offers Ph.D. in various subjects. You are required to apply for the courses within 20 February 2021. The list of shortlisted candidates will be given on 28 February 2021 after which the interview will be held.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Btech students from the various NITs and few other selected colleges who are among the top 5 students in their departments are eligible to apply for the course.
  • BTech students from the IITs who have at least 6.0 CPI/CGPA in their 3rd and 4th semester can apply for the course.
  • GATE score is not required for the admission process.

Selection Criteria

  • First, the interested candidates will have to apply for the course within 20 February 2021.
  • After that, the college will release its shortlisted candidates who are eligible for the interview.
  • The interview process will take place between 3 March 2021 and 9 March 2021.

Cut-Off

  • The Ph.D. program does not have any definite cut-off.
  • The students are admitted on the basis of the availability of seats and their performance in the interview.
