Why Should One Opt for a Dual Degree in IIT Madras?

  • The need for the program arises due to the decline in PG programs over the years. The growing demand for computer engineers and their sky-limit salaries is much more than M.Tech stipend making it less attractive. Therefore, dual degrees help here.
  • The student earns an M.tech degree with just an extra year of effort saving at least 6 months.
  • The program focuses on all the core areas of both B.Tech and M.Tech programs.
  • Dual degrees help the students with additional summer and winter which can be put to use by doing internships.
  • Students pursuing dual degrees perform a lot more coding than B.Tech courses.
  • The course is very attractive for the students who are interested in research work as well.
