  • Scholarship 2:

The second category of the scholarship is the INSPIRE scholarship which amounts up to INR 30,000 per semester. This is a merit-based scholarship for the B.S programs within the AIR 10,000 according to the common merit list. This requires the recipients to maintain a minimum CPI of 6.0. This scholarship applies to the students in the departments of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

  • Scholarship 3:

The college grants pocket money of INR 250 per month along with free basic mess bills for SC/ST students whose parents or guardians have an annual income of fewer than INR 4.5 lakhs.

With a year on year, the internship increase of 24% in stipend offered to the students. Student’s Placement Office facilitates internship opportunities for the students of IIT Kanpur.

  • Interested students should register for a summer internship with SPO under either academic or corporate preference. However, registration with SPO doesn’t mean any guarantee of an internship.
  • It is mandatory for students to attend the entire Summer Recruitment Process. If students fail to attend any one session, it will lead to disqualification of students from the selection process.

  • Merit cum Means Scholarship:

In this scholarship program, students are relieved of their tuition fees and are provided with an allowance of 1000/- per month for the complete duration of the program. For a student to be eligible for this scholarship, he/she must maintain a minimum CPI of 6.5. However, if in any case the CPI falls below 6.5 but is greater than 6.0, students shall still receive this scholarship but the monthly allowance is withdrawn. This scholarship is only available for students (other than SC/ST students) whose annual family income is less than 4.5 lacs.

  • INSPIRE Scholarship:

This scholarship is meant for students of the B.S Program only, whose All India Rank is within 10000 as per Common Merit LIST (CML) in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics departments. Students receive a sum of 30,000/- per semester along with a research grant of Rs.20,000.

  • Donor Scholarship:

  • Sports Scholarship:

This scholarship is provided as an appreciation to students excelling in a particular sport in Inter-IIT and other external sports meets. A maximum of 20 scholarships are available each year with an amount of 1,000/- provided to the students for 9 months.
