IIT BHU Placements Report and Summer Internship Programs

  • IIT BHU has started its 2021 Pre—Placement Talks For full-time hiring and both intern wherein, the number of pre-placement available enhanced from 164 in 2019-2020 to 253 in 2020-2021 and the number of internships also enhanced from 141 of 2019-2020 to 204 in 2020-2021.
  • The college bagged 762 placement offers. The vast majority of these offers went from INR 10 LPA to INR 58.21 LPA.
  • The most noteworthy international CTC worth INR 1.53 CPA (crores per annum) was bagged by 4 candidates.

Last year candidates of the B.Tech Course at this college underwent necessary summer internships in many leading colleges. Second-year candidates also gain important and projects in many international and national companies.

  • In the current year, the college conducted its summer internship drive online during the Coronavirus. The summer internships were offered to candidates of M.Tech, IDD, and B.Tech and MSc.
  • The summer internship placement procedure started on 10 August 2021, wherein a reputed organization gave pre-placement offer PP0s to 109 candidates of the college doing summer placement in the main day slot.

IIT BHU: Reservation Through JEE Advanced Counselling

IIT BHU grants 795 seats for admission to B.Tech courses in 10 disciplines. Candidates clearing JEE Main and JEE Advanced will be eligible for JoSAA Counselling. JEE Main is a precursor for getting admission in NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs and JEE Advanced is a precursor for IITs in India.

  • According to the JEE Advanced Reservation criteria, 15% seats will be reserved for Scheduled Caste and 7.5% will be reserved for the Scheduled Tribe.
