10+2 passed students with higher scores are eligible for the undergraduate B.Tech course. Different branches of B.Tech are available here. All the B. Tech programs are affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal which was formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). B.Tech Courses Offered

B.Tech is a 4 year degree course. Students can take admission into the program through JEE mains. Different B.Tech courses are available here. Students can select any of them:

Students can apply in any of the above branches. Intake capacity of all three branches is 60 each. That means 60 seats are available in each branch.

Eligibility for B.Tech

Eligibility Criteria for getting admission in B.Tech is as follows:

  • The student must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with the additional subject i.e. Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • 50% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to West Bengal and allotted through WBJEE counseling. Students can check other details in the official website which is https://wbjeeb.nic.in
  • The other 25% seats would be filled by the approved candidates from North-East states like Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland and Sikkim.
  • The remaining 25% is filled by candidates other than West Bengal and NE states.
  • Candidates applying from other states and union territories excluding West Bengal are allotted the remaining 50% seats. They can get admission through JEE Main Counselling (JoSAA/CSAB).
