JEE Main Cut off for GFTIs – Seat Matrix

JoSAA provides seat matrices for all the IITs, IIITs, NITs and GFTIs. Seat matrix for 2021 has not been released yet. Let us see the 2020 seat matrix for GFTIs based on different categories.

S.No. Categories Number of seats
01 Open 2150
02 Open PwD 73
03 ST 358
04 SC 542
05 ST PwD 13
06 SC PwD 14
07 OBC- NCL 748
08 OBC-NCL PwD 21

These were the top GFTI colleges under JEE Main. One thing that the students should have in mind is that the candidate should score at least the minimum rank required for the GFTI. Also, the candidates securing less than JEE Main cutoff 2021 will have fewer chances of admission in GFTI than those who have ranks more than or equivalent to the cutoff for GFTI.

Students should know that the eligibility criteria to apply in GFTI is that they must have appeared in JEE Main and should have qualified the exam. Hope this will help the students.

JoSAA Participating Institutes 2021 – IITs, IIITs, NITs, GFTIs and more

Last updated on December 24th, 2020 at 10:38 am

In this article, we have made available the list of the number of all the institutes that will take part in the JEE Main 2021 counselling. JoSAA Participating Institutes include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 GFTIs in India. These colleges/institutes are the ones that provide admissions to the applicants through their JEE Main 2021 scores and JoSAA counselling 2021. Every year there are many students who prepare for JEE Main but only a few of them are able to seek admissions into JoSAA Participating Institutes as there are only limited seats available.

  • To get admission in IIT, students have to pass the JEE Exam at two levels: firstly, JEE Main Exam, twice a year and secondly, JEE Advanced.
  • Students also have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of both the exams to become eligible to take the exams.
  • Only after qualifying both these exams, candidates can seek admissions in any of the IITs in India.
  • However, NITs, IIITs and some other GFTIs give admission on the basis of JEE Main results.
