Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology or DA-IICT Gandhinagar, was established in 2001 in Gujarat. It is an NAAC accredited Grade-A institute which achieved its University status in the year 2003. The institute offers several courses in Engineering, Science and Design both in UG and PG level.

Admissions are done through entrance examinations (JEE Mains for B.Tech , GATE for M.Tech & for M.Des- DAT/CEED). Candidates must have to perform well in terms of getting admission in the desired courses. DA-IICT Admissions

The institute provides admission based on the merit list. Applicants can also get admission in B.Tech courses via JEE Main score. For M.Tech program admissions are done through GATE scores. Students opting for an M.Des degree requires CEED rank. Admission for M.Sc and Ph.D are solely merit based.

DA-IICT Placement

The institute has tied up with many top notch companies like Flipkart , Amazon , Microsoft , Goldman Sachs etc. The placement statistics of this institute have been exceptional throughout the past years. In 2019, 372 out of 400 students got offer letters and about 360 students have been placed. DA-IICT Scholarship

  • DA-IICT merit cum means scholarship: Five students in each semester who will take admission in the program with the highest AIR in JEE Mains and whose family income is not more than INR 3,00,000 per annum are given this scholarship.
  • DA-IICT merit scholarship: Students in B.Tech program with AIR less than 5000 are given this scholarship.
  • Reliance Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is given to the students of B.Tech & M.Sc based on merit list.

DA-IICT Facilities

  • Hostel: The college provides hostels for both men and women residents. Both separate hostels are well furnished for the good means of the students. There are almost 900 beds in for boys and 195 beds for girls and both the hostels are situated within the main campus.
  • Library: The library of this institute has a collaboration with INFLIBNET and National Digital Library of India and consists of about 31020 books, 11230 e-books , 5674 e-journals, 3913 audiovisual materials.
  • Labs: There are many labs including Computer labs , Grid labs , Computation Science & HPC lab , VLSI lab , Multimedia lab and many more.
  • Sports: There is a Badminton court, Cricket court , Volleyball court , Football ground available within the campus for physical well beings of the students.
  • Cafeteria: The campus has 7 food courts giving various range of foods and cousins . There is also a separate non-veg food counter available within the campus.
