The eligibility criteria for admissions into various engineering courses vary from college to college. The general education requirements for an undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and Ph.D. engineering courses are as mentioned below:

  • B.Tech/ B.E: Candidate must have cleared class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as the core subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
  • B.Tech Lateral Entry: Candidate must have passed a three-year Diploma approved by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government. He/ She should also have a minimum score of 45% or equivalent.
  • M.Tech/ M.E: Candidate should have cleared B. E or B.Tech with a valid GATE score.
  • Diploma: Aspirant should have cleared class 10 or equivalent examination with a minimum score of 35% in Mathematics and Science subjects.
