Guru Nanak Dev University Admissions

GNDU is a semi-public university hence presenting the opportunity for students to apply for campus as well as for private admission. Dual admission offering is entirely based on eligibility criteria for the relevant courses.

GNDU accepts JEE, JNU CEEB and NATA along with GNDU GMET. The score in the entrance exam would seal the candidature of the students.

Admission in courses like B.Sc, B.Com, and M.A is supported by merit or the marks scored by the candidate in 10+2 or 10+2+3 (Graduate).

  • Sports- GNDU provides hi-tech sports facilities to its students. It also offers sports scholarships to deserving candidates. The university has a separate sports hostel that can accommodate more than 200 students at a time.
  • Youth Welfare Department– This particular department is responsible to engage students in various extracurricular and cultural activities. It encourages youth to showcase their talents in Youth festivals held nationally.
  • Library- The library is called as Bhai Gurdas Library and has a huge collection of books, journals, scientific writings etc. The library has both printed and e-journals. A collection of 87 foreign and 146 Indian Journals along with 22 separate departmental libraries has been established in the university. The library also has a separate computer and digital section where the soft copies of documents, essential publications, books and journals are stored.
  • Health Services– The university provides 24×7 medical services for the students. The consultation is free of cost however minimum charges are to be paid for the diagnostic test. GNDU has a well-developed medical wing equipped with modern facilities and tools to provide necessary medical assistance to the students present in campus. It provides ayurvedic treatments, physiotherapy, dental OPD and allopathy treatments.
  • Centre for Preparation of UPSC & PCS Exams and UGC NET- Through AISCEE (All India services Centre of Preparations for Competitive Examinations) GNDU provides classes to students who are willing to appear for competitive examinations in state or national level. The centre effectively trains students for government services. Students seeking admission have to pay a certain amount of fees to enrol in these courses. They provide excellent teaching faculty as the maximum of the teachers are expert in their fields holding relevant qualifications.
