National University of Advanced Legal Studies [NUALS] Ernakulam Admission: Courses, Eligibility, Selection, Application Process

National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Ernakulam was established in the year 2005 under the state legislature. The National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies was established by the Bar Council of Kerala Trust in 2002 and later merged with the National University of Advanced Legal Studies in the year 2008.

The college is located in Kochi. The National University of Advanced Legal Studies Campus is the seat of the Kerala High Court.

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies campus provides adequate academic infrastructure – dedicated internet access, Wi-Fi Connectivity, online legal resources including Hein online, Westlaw India and Manupatra, a computer lab, besides a good collection of standard books and reports, both foreign and Indian.

The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

NUALS Ernakulam Admission Updates

Admission to all the courses at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies is strictly based on the entrance – centralized exam for law (CLAT).

Students who have studied in Kerala and valid documents have a reservation of 49% across all categories.

The admission forms are already out. The candidates can apply by visiting the official website of CLAT. The last date to apply is scheduled for 15-June-2021.

The CLAT exam is scheduled to be held on 22-Aug-2021.
