Central University of Kerala acknowledged by “central Universities act 2009″. Central University of Kerala is recognised by UGC. It is a central university accredited by NAAC B++. The campus area is spread across 310 acres. The Central University of Kerala [CUK] is ranked at 101st position in NIRF’s overall category in 2020.

The University offers Postgraduate, undergraduate, Diploma and doctorate courses in various specializations. The top courses offered by the University are B. An international relation, LLM, M.A Economics, MBA, etc.

Admissions are based upon the CU-CET conducted by the University itself, followed by an interview. The University has three Campuses, namely Main, Law, and Science. Under which 11 departments are present.

For PG courses such as MBA, PGDM, M.Com, M. Sc, the candidates are offered top positions in ISRO, NCPOAR, NCESS, IITS, MNCs.

Central University of Kerala: Admissions

Candidates need to qualify for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) examination. To get admission for the various UG, PG, Ph.D., PG diploma programs under different specializations.

Eligibility

To get admission for the doctoral courses also it is based on entrance exams followed by counseling after the candidate is shortlisted.

  • For the Undergraduate course, candidates must be eligible to pass the 12th board exams with a minimum of 50% in the recognised board exams.
  • The PG courses’ selection is based on the entrance exam within the relevant stream.
  • Candidates who are also applying for Ph.D. must have a master’s degree in the relevant stream from the recognized University of the University Grant Commission.
  • The students in the general category must have passed with 50% marks. While in case of reserved category students must have passed with 45% marks.
  • Final admission will be offered after the candidate has been shortlisted in the exam. An interview then followed them.

  • Click on the online application form.
  • Then on this page ,’ click here’ for new registration.
  • Choose the preferred course and fill in the necessary details in the application form. Then submit it.
  • Pay the fees through debit card/credit card/online.
  • Candidates will receive an automated email and SMS on their number after successful payment.
  • If you are applying offline., then you need to pay the challan and wait for seven days to receive it.
  • The candidates can take the print of this for future reference.

Central University of Kerala: Placements 

The Central University of Kerala, Kasargod, conducts a placement drive for its students each year. The placement cell provides opportunities for students by inviting the companies via mail. They provide live projects, graduation projects, training and internships. The companies conduct a pre-placement talk which is followed by an Aptitude and reasoning test. Then a group discussion is operated by companies where the shortlisted students must appear for an interview.

Each 24 department has a different mechanism in working as a placement cell.

  • For UG courses such as B.A, the candidates are offered internships from various organizations.
  • For PG courses such as MBA, PGDM, M.Com, M. Sc, the candidates are offered top positions in ISRO, NCPOAR, NCESS, IITS, MNCs.

Central University of Kerala: Scholarships

The CUK provides scholarships for students from the government of Kerala. In each department, candidates who are scored top marks are provided with the scholarship. These will help in flourishing their career. There are two types of Categories in funding.

  • E-grants are offered for the students who post pursuing the courses from the University.
  • Post-graduate Indira Gandhi scholarship for an single child for PG programs offered by the University Grant Commission.
