Initially, it was set up as Shoolini Institute of Life science and Business Management in 2005 and was granted University status in 2009. The nature of the scholarships is either merit based scholarships, need scholarships or merit-cum-need scholarships. The value of the scholarship ranges from 10%-100% of the tuition fee waiver, on a case-to-case basis.
