Great Lakes Institute of Management Admissions

The admissions process is focused on a thorough assessment of the applicants’ personal and technical backgrounds, academic achievement, managerial aptitude, and exhibited skill sets in several dimensions.

GLIM has a proper format for the application process for the Full-Time Programs which initiates filling an application form that is available from August – September. Furthermore, the last dates of submissions are in 4 cycle rounds starting from December to March. The candidates’ application fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria would be processed further for admission.

For the admission applications (2021) for the PGPM program, GLIM has decided to carry out the Profile-Based Early Interview Process. This Process is for the candidates planning to apply during the application Cycle 1 and Cycle 2, for those who have registered for CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT exams but have not yet got the results, will be shortlisted and later interviewed along with other profile candidates who have their results.

Such early-profile-based candidates will be considered for the final offer only after the submission of the scores after the results are declared. Factors such as Academics, Awards and Achievements, and Work Experience would be considered for the Profile-Based Early Interviews.

In the case of Corporate Programs, the whole admission process is online-based following the interview, and the Evaluation Process/Selection Process would be going through the academic performance and quality of work experience or might also include Written tests and further interviews.

The Students at the Institute come out with a balanced combination of theoretical understanding and practical experience which leads to the results of the placements at GLIM. There are several recruiters for the PGPM program which include World Bank, Yes Bank, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, L&T infotech, Flipkart, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Amazon, Airtel, Barclays, Capgemini, Dell, Dunia, Ford, HCL, HDFC, HP, ITC, Jabong, Ola, McKinsey & Company, Swiggy and many more.

For the excellent season of campus placement of 2020, the class of PGPM program of the 2020 year saw 95% of placement within 9 months of program commencement and due to this the average CTC of the batch increased to 13.6 LPA. While the campus placement of the PGDM class of 2020, witnessed 100% placements which increased the average CTC to 10.4 LPA.

The average CTC offered to the overall Class of 2020 was INR 10.4 Lakhs and the highest domestic CTC was by a leading multinational consulting firm which was INR 21.5 Lakhs.
