Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences of Maharastra, also known as MGIMS is an MCI(Medical Council of India) approved private medical college, established in 1969 by Kasturba Health Society. MGIMS Wardha is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Science(MUHS) and has a NAAC A grade accreditation. MGIMS Wardha has MBBS course at the UG level and MD and MS courses at the PG level including 20 specializations in total. Besides they have PhD and Diploma course having 9 specializations. NEET and NEET PG are the only entrance examinations accepted here for UG and PG level admission. Admission in PhD is a merit-based process. Also, MGIMS Wardha has ranked as the 23rd top university in India Today in 2020.

MGIMS Wardha Admission Updates

  • Admission of MBBS in MGIMS Wardha is based on NEET examination and for admission in MS and MD candidates have to qualify NEET PG.
  • Candidates can apply for NEET 2021 till the 3rd week of June 2021.
  • NEET 2021 Examination will take place on 1st August 2021.
  • NEET 2021 admit card will be available from the 1st week of July 2021.
  • NEET PG which was supposed to take place on the 18th April 2021 has been postponed due to the sudden surge of COVID cases in India. A new date will be informed according to the situation.
  • Admit cards of NEET PG 2021 which were available on 14th April are invalid now. New admit cards will be released along with a new examination date.
