Established in 1972, Sri Aurobindo College (SAC) offers courses in departments such as Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Electronics, English, Environmental Science, Hindi, History, Maths, Physics, Political Science, Physical Education, Sanskrit, and Zoology. The admission criteria are through the merit-based 10th and 12th standard examinations.

The admission process for Sri Aurobindo college is around the corner. The application and the registration can only be done through online mode.

It is not advisable to submit the admission form or the fees on the last day of the admission process due to the heavy traffic of form submissions. Registration for the college can be done through both the entrance test and the score in the qualifying examination. The fees are to be paid through the admission portal online within 15:00 hours after the next day of the approval of the admission in the portal.

Sri Aurobindo College UG Admission Criteria 2021 

Sri Aurobindo college offers BA, B.Sc, and B.com programs. The details of the courses are as under:

Eligibility Criteria

  • For admission in undergraduate courses, the candidate must pass the 10th and 12th examinations. All admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination.
  • Relaxation can be extended to 5% in the minimum marks for the students belonging to SC and ST categories.
  • If the reserved seats remain vacant even after the 5% relaxation, further relaxation would be given to the extent required to fill all the seats. Eligibility in these cases is a pass percentage. 

Selection Criteria

  • Admissions to the courses will be provided based on the merit list prepared by the college authority.
  • 22.5% of the total seats are reserved for the applicants belonging to the SC and ST. (15% for SC and 7.5%for ST, interchangeable if necessary).

Sri Aurobindo College MA Admission Criteria 2021

Sri Aurobindo College offers a two-year-long MA in Hindi at the PG level. Candidates with a graduation degree can apply for this course.

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have valid marks in the graduation degree.

Selection Criteria

Selection to the MA Hindi will be merit-based.

Sri Aurobindo college Admission Process

  • Candidates can register online for all the undergraduate courses through the admission portal.
  • Guidelines must be followed carefully that are mentioned by the University of Delhi.
  • The selection can be done through both the modes of merit and through entrance examinations.
  • There is no option for online filling the form. The candidates are requested to fill the form online.
  • The form fees are INR 250 for the General/OBC category. And INR 100 for SC/ST/PwD/EWS/sports/ECA category.
  • ECA and sports categories are not acceptable to entrance-based courses.
  • As and when the candidate has paid the fees, he or she will not be able to apply under any ECA and the sports category.
  • It should be ensured by the applicant to complete the mandatory field specifically marked with a red asterisk on every page and upload the required documents under the right uploaded sections.

  • Self-attested class 10th board examination certificate.
  • Self-attested class 10th mark sheet.
  • Self-attested Class XII mark sheet.
  • Self-attested Class XII provisional certificate.
  • Self-attested recent character certificate.
  • Self-attested SC/ST/PWD/CW/KM certificate in the name of the candidate issued by the competent authority.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy layer) certificate in the name of the candidate issued by the competent authority.
  • Self-attested transfer certificate from school or college as well as the migration certificate from board or university required from those students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  • At least two recent passport size self-attested photographs.
  • Students Aadhar card passport for parents Aadhar card voter ID card (for permanent residential proof).
