The admission to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is based on the marks secured from the Common Eligibility Tests by the institute itself.

Those who cleared the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) are called for counseling to complete the admission process.

Students who wish to apply for PGIMER admission may follow the steps given below

  • The application forms have to be filled online that is available from PGI Official website
  • After registration, they need to fill all essential personal and educational details in the space provided.
  • Candidates can opt for the desired course and have to pay the application fee online itself
  • Candidates can keep the printout of the form and bring it at the time of college admission.
  • Students have to appear for the common entrance tests on the prescribed date along with the admission card.
  • Aspirants have to clear the test with a minimum 55% of marks in the entrance test.
  • Based on eligibility criteria and the marks scored in the entrance exam and, a merit list is prepared.
  • After that Students are called for the counseling process, and original documents are verified.
  • After these steps, students can make sure of their seats, and after fee payment, they are enrolled in the college.

  • Sports: Indoor and Outdoor games facilities are available for recreation and maintaining physical fitness. Table tennis courts, Cricket ground, Football ground, and badminton areas are available for students.
