The JEE Main Application correction facility has now been extended till 3rd May 2020. The facility also includes the scope of updating exam city preference as multiple candidates requested for the same. Soon after PM Narendra Modi announced the extension of lockdown amidst the global pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19), the Union Minister for HRD, Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal, announced on twitter that NTA shall extend the deadline for JEE Main Application Form correction. Along with JEE Main, he also announced an extension for the dates of Correction of NEET (UG) 2020 Application.

Lockdown Extended: What does this mean for candidates?
- NTA previously announced that the JEE Main admit cards will be announced after 14th April 2020. But now, due to the situation, Admit Cards will likely be released after 3rd May 2020, depending on the situation.
- Correction Facility can be used by candidates who still have not been able to access the same.
- Students now have even more time for preparing them better for the examination.
- Students can attempt more mocks tests until the final announcement of exam dates.
- Lockdown may be extended even more further in case of an extreme situation arising due to COVID-19 hotspots in the country. Students are advised to keep updating themselves by following news articles on the website and keep checking JEE Main 2020 official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
