NIT Kurukshetra placements observed an increase during the 2021 recruitment drive as companies’ brought forth above 933 job offers under various profiles. 819 candidates from both PG and UG departments got placed under the various sectors of the industry.
- NIT Kurukshetra placement group also provides On-Job Training, internships jobs and college arrangements in reputed associations over the globe for better placements of the candidates.
- NIT Kurukshetra highest package offered to the B.Tech graduates was 28 LPA in Computer Engineering stream, while NIT Kurukshetra average package was 11.79 LPA for the same stream.

NIT Kurukshetra conducted its final Placements for the batch of 2020 with the participation of 1,015 applicable candidates from the various programs, out of which above 819 candidates bugged 933 job offers from some great names in the industry.
- 589 candidates from the UG programme got placed. The maximum number, 141 of placements were bagged by the candidates from the B.Tech ECE program.

NIT Kurukshetra offers summer internship to the eligible candidates who are in the pre final year of their graduation. The present year 2021, new companies like Google, Godrej and InfoTech visited in the internship drive.
- UG Students shall be offered Internship or Industrial training in the sixth semester of their graduation.
- The Training and Placement Cell of NIT Kurukshetra follow One person, One internship policy for the UG Students.
