NIT Calicut placements have excellent records in the past few years. The institute observed more or less 90% total placement per year.

• NIT Calicut Placements cell works hard for the aspirants to grab them better placement with a big package. The T and P cell has developed a successful relationship with the major corporate bodies which led the best placement records over the years.

NIT Calicut Placements Highlights

133 companies visited in the placement drive that gave over 647 placement chances to 645 candidates. The highest CTC stood at Rs 49.75 LPA which was bugged by the candidates from the B.Tech Computer Science Engineering department.

877 candidates registered for the placement drive, out of which 232 continue to be placed total, the college achieved a 73.55% placement record. The Maximum CTC offered to the Postgraduate candidates was INR 34.26 LPA, as long as the NIT Calicut average package stood at INR 11.53 LPA.

NIT Calicut Summer Internship

Applications are welcomed from applicable candidates for summer internship 2021 or project internship in many laboratories at National Institute of Technology Calicut as per the following situations.

The summer internship event will be normally offered for a time of 50 days during the summer vacation during the time in June 2021, in line with the college calendar of NITC and declared by the branch. Limited students may be allowed to do a project using important laboratory facilities in a certain department.

Eligibility

• Aspirants who are finishing the 3rd year BE/B.Tech or 4th year or 8 semesters, B.Arch. The candidate finishing the 1st year ME/M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc, having CGPA not less than 7.5 or aggregate marks are applicable to submit.
• Only one regular full-time candidate with no back papers no disciplinary activities from the parent college are applicable to apply this from.

Selection process

• Selection of interns will be completed by the concerned branch by a committee selected by HOD.
• Academic performance in college examinations (percentage of marks/CGPA)
• Novelty, significance, level of expected and innovation outcome of the proposed work project or plan
• Paper invited if any at conferences or workshops, completed, the project already, academic subject concept visited and other distinction got.
