NIT Surathkal Admission 2021: Dates, Courses, Eligibility, Selection, Cutoff, Application Process

NIT Surathkal Admission admission portal for MCA 2021-22 has opened. Admission into this course will only be granted through rank obtained in NIMCET-2021. Interested candidates can apply through https://www.nimcet.in/. The last date to submit NIMCET application is April 07, 2021. The exam will be conducted on May 23, 2021.

The registered candidates have to complete the form and pay the prescribed application fee, i.e., INR 600 (OC/OBC/EWS) and INR 150 (SC/ST/PWD) through online mode only.

The selection process for admission to MBA program will begin from April 20,2021.

Here are some key points related to MBA admission 2021-23:

  • CAT 2020 or MAT 2020 marks will be considered for admission.
  • The final selection is based on CAT Score or MAT Score (70%), Group discussion (10%), personal interview (10%) and work-experience (10%).
  • In case the result of qualifying degree of a candidate has not been declared, provisional admission will be given subject to meeting eligibility requirements latest by 15th September 2021.

NIT Surathkal B. Tech Admission 2021

The University offers 4 – year full-time B.Tech. course in various specializations such as Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Mining Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM stream

How to apply for B.Tech?

  • Eligible candidates need to register online on JEE Mains website for seeking admission in B.Tech. course.
  • Once the JEE Main result has been declared, candidates will appear for JoSAA Counselling for seeking seats.
  • During the JoSAA counseling, candidates will have the choice to lock the preferences of specialization and institute from where they prefer to pursue B.Tech.
  • Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted shall report at the allotted NIT along with the necessary documents.
  • At the institute, students have to undergo document verification.
  • On successful verification, candidates can pay the fee to confirm their seats.

NIT Surathkal M. Tech Admission Criteria 2021

NIT offers 2 year M.Tech. course in numerous specializations like Chemical Engineering, Applied Mechanics and Hydraulics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering etc.

  • Seat allotment will be done on the basis of applicant’s rank and choice.
  • Once the allotment status has been declared, students shall download the Provisional Admission Letter from the website.

NIT PhD Admission Criteria 2021

Doctoral program at NIT are offered in 14 departments in Engineering, Science, Humanities and Management.
