National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), established on February 7, 1976, is a very successful institute which offers programs in specialization of Ayurveda for which the college is famous since it has started. This college is affiliated to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur. This College is accredited by NABH, NAAC, NIRF and also obtained deemed university status. The College is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicines. It also has very great past and academic records which makes this college more interesting. It has national as well as international collaborations. Meanwhile, the Institute has 14 departments with dedicated faculty and skilled professionals in Ayurveda.

Scholarships are not so far offered by National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA).Government of India offers some scholarships to needy candidates. However, the Institute offers stipends to the candidates in different courses for which the amounts are as follows:

  • BAMS:INR 12,684 per month
  • MD/MS: INR 42,560 in first year, INR 45,600 in second year, INR 48,640in third year.
  • Ph.D. Fellowship: INR 50,315 in first year and INR 51,990 in second year.
