MAIT Delhi Admission 2021: Dates, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

MAIT has released its CET Entrance Exam application form for admission to Bachelor of Technology for intermediate and lateral entry. Lateral entry is for those who wish to take admission in the second year of the BTech in any of the 8 specializations. MAIT runs its course in 2 shifts for every course. MAIT has opened online registration for admission to the MBA program for 2021-22. The last date to register is 30 May 2021. Candidates can register on their official website.

MAIT offers Full-Time BTech in 8 specializations and full-time Masters in Business Administration(MBA). The application process is done online mode. The admission is based on the Entrance Exam and cut-off.

MAIT Delhi BTech Admission

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology offers BTech in 8 specializations which have to be completed in a minimum of 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry in the 10+2 examination from any board.
  • For lateral entry, the result of the 10+3 examination decides the eligibility. The candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 55%

Selection Criteria:

  • The admission is done based on the performance of the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main 2021. MAIT also takes the Common Entrance Test (CET) to get admitted to BTech. With JEE MAINS marks, performance in CET confirms the selection in MAIT.
  • For lateral entry, a 10+3 result with JEE MAINS and CET is required.

MAIT Delhi MBA Admission

Full-Time Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is offered in MAIT to be completed in a minimum of 2 years. In total, they have 180 seats.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.0dgpa (according to the convertible of 1gp=10%) in a Bachelor’s degree. The graduation should be of a minimum of 3 years.

Selection Criteria:

The selection is based on the CAT score. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the performance in CAT 2021 and IPU CET conducted by the University.

  • Recent Passports size photograph
  • Scanned Signature
  • Thumb Impression Copy
  • Scanned copy of Adhaar card and Pan Card.
  • Scanned copy of 10th class result.
  • Caste Certificate

  • PwD certificate is applicable.
  • JEE Mains/ CAT scorecard as per the courses.

Ans: Location-wise, MAIT is located near the Rohini Metro Station. The administration is good, but not very good. It has facilities for sports, wi-fi, etc. It has a good placement record with Infosys, Accenture, etc as the recruiters.

Ans: MAIT is good for CSE because the major placements held there are for CSE students. For the 2018-19 session, Accenture, ZS Associates, LIBSYS, Wipro, Infosys, Nagarro, Sapient, TCS, Deloitte, Hughes Systique, HSBC, Cognizant, Newgen, Tata Power DDL, Amazon, Vinson, TASLa, and Samsung were the recruiters. The maximum package they offered was 28 lakh per annum.

Ans: Both shifts are good and have the same syllabus. There is no difference in any methods. You will find fewer people around in the 2nd shift only.
