Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University or MIT Chennai is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and was established in 1949.

MIT Chennai Admissions

MIT Chennai admissions are done based on both candidate’s marks in entrance exams or on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam.

Admission to BTech/ BE program is done based on the candidate’s performance in the TNEA exam.

MTech/ ME admissions are done based on the student’s score in TANCET or GATE.

For admission to MTech/ME courses, candidates have to clear either TANCET or GATE.

PhD Admissions are done based on the candidate’s performance in UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE.
