Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) is a public university, established in 2010. It is recognized by UGC, AICTE, and the Government of Kerala. Admission to the B.Tech and B.F.Sc courses at KUFOS Panangad are done on the basis of the Kerala Engineering, Architecture & Medical Courses (KEAM) entrance examination. KUFOS Panangad Scholarships

  • Post-graduate and Ph. D students are also awarded the KUFOS Junior Research Fellowship (KJF) and KUFOS Senior Research Fellowship (KSF) respectively according to their eligibility.
  • The University offers a limited number of fellowships for Post-graduate and Ph. D students from each Faculty based on merit.
  • Junior fellowship is INR 2 000/- per Semester and Senior Research fellowship is INR 14000/- per month

Ans. The reservation norms made by the state government are applicable for KUFOS Panangad Admission. For admission, SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.

  • 10% seats of the General category are reserved for the children of the EWS category in all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs offered by KUFOS.
  • 5% of seats of M.Sc. courses are reserved for the physically challenged candidates with at least 40% disability.
