KIIT is inviting students for admissions in various UG and PG courses. The online application for the University began in December 2020 and will continue till May 31, 2021. Admit cards for the admission process would be released on 4th June 2021 and the entrance exam will be taken from June 16, 2021, to June 23, 2021. KIIT Admission 2021: B.Tech

B.Tech at KIIT is offered in numerous specializations like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production, Aerospace, Medical Electronics, etc. The details for admissions in B. Tech have been discussed below in detail.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM stream
  • They must have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Selection Criteria

  • Admissions for B.Tech are mainly done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University itself KIITEE.
  • After the entrance exam and the result, selected candidates are required to come to the University campus for counselling and depositing the fees.

KIIT Admission 2021: MBA

A two-year MBA course is also offered at KIIT. The score of various exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc is considered for the admission process.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized University.

Selection Criteria

  • The candidate should meet the cut-off score in any of the exams like CAT, KIITEE, MAT, XAT, CMAT.
  • Counselling is held by the University before the final admissions.
  • Group Discussion and Personal Interviews are also held for final admissions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.A. (Hons) and B.Des: Candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2.
  • BCA and B.Arch: Candidates should have a 50% aggregate in 10+2 with Maths as a compulsory subject.
  • B.Sc: Candidates should have a 45% aggregate in 10+2 in the science stream.
  • MBBS and BDS: Candidates should have a science background with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
  • B. Tech +M.tech and B.Tech and MBA: Candidates must score an aggregate of 60% marks in 10+2 with PCM/B as subjects.
  • BMC+MMC: Passed 10+2 with minimum 50%
  • B. Com: Completed 10+2 with 50%
  • GNM: Completed 10+2 with minimum 40% and must have studied English
  • BFTP and BCJ: Passed 10+2 with 50%

Selection Criteria

All courses except M.B.B.S and BDS require the candidate to pass the KIITEE entrance exam followed by a counseling session for final admissions. Medical courses require the candidates to appear for the National level entrance exam like NEET-UG to qualify for admissions followed by counseling held by the University. B.Arch course requires candidates’ marks in the NATA exam.

  • M. Tech: Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA in the relevant discipline or AMIR from a recognized University.

Selection Criteria

  • For M.A., M.Sc., L.L.M., MCA, M.Com., M.M.C., candidates need to appear for the KIITEE entrance exam followed by counseling for admissions.
  • For Medical courses like MDS and M.D., candidates will get admissions on the basis of NEET PG, NEET SS, or NEET MDS scores followed by counseling by the University.
  • For M.Tech, candidates can get direct admission followed by counseling if their score is higher than 400 in GATE. If not, they have to appear for the KIITEE entrance exam.
