Revised dates for the 2 pending sessions of JEE Main 2021 have been announced on July 6th by the then Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
As a relief to lakhs of candidates, the Education Ministry has finally taken a decision on the last 2 sessions of JEE Main 2021 that were postponed during the second wave of the pandemic.
- JEE Main April session (Phase 3) is scheduled to be conducted from July 20-25, 2021
- May session (Phase 4) of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 27-August 2, 2021.
NTA has notified that the exam will be conducted with proper social distancing measures and the registration process at the exam centres will be contactless.
JEE Main Session 3 and 4 Registration
NTA has aso reopened the application window from July 6, 2021. Applications for Session 3 can be submitted till July 8, 2021 while the application window for Session 4 will remain active from July 9-12, 2021. Candidates must keep in mind that NTA will not open the correction window and they must enter correct details in the application form.
As per the notice released by NTA, 6.80 lakh candidates have already registered for the April session while 6.09 lakh applications have been received for the May session. However, NTA has opened the registration process again after receiving repeated requests from the candidates.

Also, candidates who have already applied are given a chance to change their preferred exam centres. NTA has also increased the total number of cities for the exam from 232 to 334. Number of centres has also been increased from 660 to 828.
Declaration of final dates for JEE Main has brought some clarity to the students. It is expected that NTA might make announcements about NEET 2021 dates soon as well. However, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2021 but NTA has not released the NEET UG application forms yet.
