Soon after announcements of class 10th and 12th board results, CBSE announced that the syllabus for the academic year 2020-21 has been reduced by 30%. Only the important topics were retained while less important and topics were removed from the curriculum. The reduction was introduced as a one-time measure due to the delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and exam postponements.

This change was announced around the beginning of August. But till now, there has been no such announcement by NTA or any other governing body for JEE Main 2021. Students who are preparing for next year’s JEE Main exam have already spent more than 6 months of education considering the year starts from April 2020.JEE Main 2021

Usually, JEE Main Syllabus is similar to CBSE Syllabus of both class 11th and 12th. Hence it is possible that NTA might reduce the syllabus considerably.
