IIT Kharagpur will release the list of JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Centres in the official brochure. In 2020, the exam was conducted at 1001 centres in 212 cities throughout the country. Last year, the authority added 46 news centres to implement proper social distancing measures and to make the examination process more convenient for the candidates. The details about the allotted exam centre will be given on the JEE Advanced Admit Card.

- NTA has released the information brochure for JEE Main 2021.
- JEE Advanced information brochure will be released by the conducting authority, i.e., IIT Kharagpur soon.
- JEE Advanced Admit Card will be released 2 weeks prior to the exam.
- While efforts will be made to allot the preferred centre to the candidate but in exceptional cases, different exam centres in the same zone could be allotted.
The list of centres for 2021 has not been released yet. However, this article provides a complete list of the various zones and exam centres for JEE Advanced 2020 exam. It will be updated as soon as the revised list is released by IIT Kharagpur.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols at Exam Centres
Considering the current situation created by the ongoing pandemic, exam authority will be implementing proper social distancing measures at the exam centre. Candidates must follow all the guidelines mentioned in the JEE Advanced 2021 admit card. They will be required to wear a mask at all times.
Candidates are required to carry the following items with them:
- Hard copy of Admit Card with signed Self Declaration (Undertaking)
- Valid ID Proof
- Transparent Ball Point Pen
- Passport sized photograph to be pasted on attendance sheet
- Hand sanitizer with transparent bottle of 50 ml
- Transparent water bottle

Preparations at Exam Centres
- SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) will be followed by all staff at exam centres.
- The exam halls will be sanitized thoroughly before each shift. The seating area, computers, mouse, keyboards, door handles, staircases will be properly sanitized.
- The seating arrangement will have a gap between 2 seats at all times.
- Hand sanitizers will be provided at entry and inside exam halls as well.
- Frisking will be done through Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) without touching the body.

Reporting Guidelines at Exam Centres
- Candidates must bring the JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card at the time of verification at the exam centre.
- Further, candidates are permitted to carry a ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, and original photo identity card to the exam centres.
- Also, candidates must report to the exam centre well before the commencement of the exam and get the biometric verification done. The exam centres shall open at 7:00 IST.
- The exam will begin at 09:00 AM in the forenoon session and 2:00 PM in the afternoon session. The candidates are NOT allowed to enter the exam centre after the commencement of the exam in both the sessions.
- No candidate will be permitted to leave the exam centre before completing the examination.
- Any kind of electronic gadget including mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, health bands or any other thing like pencil box, pouch, calculator, pen drives, electronic pen, wallet, handbag, etc will be strictly banned inside the exam centres.

Important Information about JEE Advanced 2021
- JEE Advanced 2021 will be a computer-based exam.
- JEE Advanced Examination centres have been set up in 212 cities for the year 2021.
- Students must select 8 exam centres from an IIT zone while filling the JEE Advanced Application Form.
- Candidates who will be taking the exam in the 2021 session will not be allowed to make any kind of changes in the exam centres. And their request for the same will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Zonal coordinating IITs will look for the arrangements, through the Presiding Officer (PO) of the Examination Centre, to offer a panel of scribes.
- The candidates are suggested to report to the allotted exam centre well in advance so that last-minute hassles can be avoided.
- JEE Advanced 2021 Result Date will be announced by IIT Kharagpur soon.
