Update: Due to the sudden outbreak of the epidemic coronavirus (COVID-19), IIT-D postponed the release of JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card. Recently, HRD Minister Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the JEE Advanced Exam dates. So, the date for the exam is 23rd August 2020.


Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi is the issuing authority for JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card. According to the latest notice, the scheduled date for JEE Advanced 2020 is 23 August 2020.

To download the JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card, you have to go to the candidate portal for the examination. This portal is on the official website of the exam. Furthermore, IIT-D does not send JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card via post or email to any candidate. So, to download the JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card, the candidate needs to enter these details on the portal – registration number, mobile number, Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY), and email address.

After downloading the JEE Advanced Admit Card, the candidates must print extra hard copies in case of emergencies. Discrepancy in JEE Advanced Admit Card

Candidates should thoroughly check the admit card. Further, if there is any discrepancy found, they can contact the Chairman of JEE Advanced 2020 of the respective zonal IIT. Following are some of the obstacle that are likely to occur while downloading the JEE Advanced Admit Card:

  1. Partial filling of the Application form: Applicants must fill all the details in the JEE Advanced 2020 Application form. Incomplete application or failure of fee payment will lead to losing the candidacy. Finally, IIT-D will not issue your JEE Advanced Admit Card.

Forgot Registration Number?

Sometimes, the candidate forgets his/her registration number for the JEE Advanced exam. In such a case, the coordinating IIT will enable the option to access their forgotten registration number for the examination.   • Head to the official website of the examination.
  • Now, click on the link that takes you to the candidate portal.

  6. Candidates are advised to wear open footwear on the day of the exam.
  7. Above all, mobile phones, earphones, Bluetooth devices, microphones or any other gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall.

  9. Any kind of paper – blank or handwritten, writing pad, pencil box, log table, calculator, or scales are also not allowed to be carried to the exam center.
  10. Candidates are advised against wearing bracelets, rings, necklace, badge, charms, hair band, veil, and clothes with full sleeves or big buttons. This will take more of their time during the frisking process.
