CBSE Boards and JEE Main Uncertainty

The decision came after a 3 member committee reviewed the situation created by the pandemic during a meeting held at IIT Kharagpur. It was observed by the committee that the exam needed to be rescheduled. This is because the dates for the last 2 sessions of JEE Main 2021, that is, April and May session are uncertain. NTA has not released the revised dates for JEE Main April and May session. Class XII board exams have also been postponed. Further, JEE Advanced can only be conducted after the results of all sessions of JEE Main are released.

JEE Main is the national level entrance test considered for granting admission to engineering institutes all over the country while JEE Advanced gives you entry to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
