The Jamshedpur Women’s College affiliated to Kolhan University is an ‘A’ graded college accredited by NAAC. The campus of the college is spread across 6 acres of land containing five squares of structures lodging the resources of training, Science, Arts and Commerce, a Stadium, and a library. The tentative registration beginning date is May 31, 2021.

Selection Criteria

The detailed selection criteria for the courses offered by the Jamshedpur Women’s College is as follows:

For UG Courses

  • To get admission into UG Courses candidates must have passed 12th from any recognized board or school.
  • For getting admission into honors courses students should have passed with at least 45% in the specific subject.
  • For some of the courses students need to qualify the entrance exam.
  • After the registration process students cannot change their subject.
  • A separate form according to UGC regulations is available for the transgender candidates.

For PG Courses

  • Candidates must have graduated from any recognized college or university.
  • For the M.Ed program, following seats will be reserved for SC – 10%, ST – 26%, OBC – 14%, Unreserved – 50%, and 3% seats will be reserved for physically challenged candidates.
  • To get admission to the BBA programme, candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written test and interview.
  • For admission to the MBA course, the candidates who have a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT will be selected for GD and Personal interview round.
